Welcome to the Missouri Student Unions, where students can find entertainment, food, catering, activities, convenient services, and reserve rooms. All of our services are located in two convenient locations - Memorial Student Union and Brady Student Commons.
In April 2005, MU students voted to renovate and expand the existing Brady Commons building. The first phase of the project, Site Utility Expansion was completed in Summer 2006, and expands the utility lines in order to allow for an expansion. The expansion phase of the project is now underway, and should be completed by Fall 2008. The final phase, renovation, will begin after that, and be completed by Fall 2010.
The goal of our website is to allow as much student interaction as possible on the project and to keep you informed of what’s going on. Click on the “Your Voice” section to let your thoughts be heard, or go to the Blog to see the most recent additions. Also make sure to look at the plans and FAQs, so you know what’s going on at your Student Center!

Towering artwork
Memorial Union officials celebrated this week a three-panel work by David Spear at the University of Missouri. The oil paintings by the Columbia artist, installed earlier this year, hang in the Tower Lounge, adjacent to Stotler Lounge. "We’re really excited about it, it’s gorgeous," said Michelle Mazza Froese, public relations manager of Student and Auxiliary Services at MU.

The Hole Next to Brady
What was formerly referred to as “the hole next to Brady Student Commons” is a hole no longer! Almost three-fourths of the basement flooring has been poured. Construction has also begun on the first floor, which means we should see the building growing up and up very soon. Basically, construction crews will be forming a deck with the forms and rods currently in place which the new floor will be formed on top of.

Construction Update
Did you notice anything different at Brady Commons when you went to get your books for this semester? If anything, it is easy to see that A LOT of dirt has been moved around. Observant students may have also noticed the new framework going up at the site of the new Student Center (if you haven’t seen it click the link to the
webcam and check it out!)
