students, starts with our excellent Missouri Student Unions staff.

 

 

A holistic view of any organization reveals that the number one activity-type expense is most always your personnel cost. Personnel costs include the salaries, wages, and benefits that are paid to the organizations employees.


The Missouri Student Union is a very labor intensive organization. Of our total expenditure budget of $2,215,990, our personnel cost is almost exactly 50% of the entire budget. The Missouri Student Unions employs students into its workforce wherever possible (9.4% of staff ) in order to give our students a real-world experience before graduation. Salaries and wages to full-time staff make up 71% of our personnel cost, with benefits coming in at 19.6%.
