Dear Missouri Student Unions customer:
After an exhaustive review of market pricing and costs, the Missouri Student Unions is changing its meeting room rental rate structure for campus departments. Previously, departments paid a daily rate for space. Starting Monday, Aug. 20, meeting and event space will be reserved at an hourly rate.
- Small and medium meeting rooms: $6 per hour
- Large spaces: $25 per hour*
Recognized student organizations are exempt from this policy as student fees pay for their portion of the space they use.
This rate change will allow the Unions to continue to offer excellent space for campus events. The rates are set so that the Unions covers its costs but does not make a profit. All reservations currently confirmed in the reservation system will be held at the old rates.
As noted in our room reservation policies, the Missouri Student Unions will continue to offer preset room configurations for our spaces. Should you request a special setup outside of the current preset room configurations, an additional reset fee will be charged to cover our labor costs.
